Importance of studying Islamic science (Version English)

One of the most important acts of worship is the pursuit of knowledge.

The first thing that Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala tells us after the creation of Adam, peace be upon him, he is teaching him the names of things.
Adam, alaihi Assalem, was the first prophet on earth to which there have been many other prophets have taught each one to their people why they are created and how to worship Allah Subhanahu wata’ala. And this is the content of religious science.

He Subhanahu wa ta’ala say:“Are those who know equal to those who do not know?” (Quran, 39:9)

and still says: “Only those fear Allah , from among His servants, who have knowledge.” (Quran 35:28)

and still says: “Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees” (Quran 58:11)

His prophet salla Allah alaihi wa sallam said:

Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala makes us understand the religion the person to whom wants the good (authentic, Bukhari-Muslim).

and still says:
The wise men are the heirs of the prophets and the prophets have left money or cash as an inheritance, but science. Anyone who takes a part of it, it takes a great fortune. (referenced by Thirmidhi authenticated by Al Albani).

And he said:
Convey my message was also for a single verse (Bukhari authentic).

Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala say: “Recite in the name of your Lord who created” (Quran 96:1)

the reading being an important tool of science.

It still says: “So know, that there is no deity except Allah” (Quran 47:19)

The request Science (*) is therefore a necessary duty to worship. Regarding the worship prescribed, such as salat, fasting, hajj, zakat is obliged to every Muslim know how.

A knowledge of other aspects of religion is an obligation on the community (**) of the Muslims and not on the individual, but in pursuing it is a great benefit and a great reward because it elevates the applicant of science to the rank of the wise, heirs of prophets.

(*) This means of course the Islamic science

(**) The obligation on the community (fard kifeya) is acquitted by a group of Muslims and if no one fulfills all individuals will have committed a sin.
