The month of Ramadan is the most sacred and dear to everyone because:

“The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.” ( Quran 2:185)

So our fasting is the testimony of this month, is an act of ibadah (worship) to Allah but above all, fasting is something that we need to do:

O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous. (Quran 2:183)

Fasting entails many benefits even at the physical level:
Without eating and then ingest micro and macro particles that our body takes hours and days to divide and elaborate, our body can clean up it, remove the old cells and produce new, adapting to fast our body and our cells start to produce energy without the use of proteins; the animals when they are sick or have suffered trauma fast.

Every second of this month should be used in the best works because every bit of good we do will be multiplied over and over again, making it a great reward from Allah.

“When it comes month of Ramadan, the gates of Paradise are opened, and those of the Hellfire hermetically closed and the devils are chained. And every night resounds: “You who seek the good, you take advantage of it and who seeks evil abstain”. “(Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu alaihi wasallam)

Fasting is a means to banish from us the sins, tools that Shaytan knows how to use it very well:

“Satan circulates in the same way in man’s blood; restrict him then its channels (veins) with hunger” (hadith)
Allah says, “Who fasts neglects appetite, food and drink for me. Fasting belongs to Me and I will establish the reward” (Hadith)
To his wife ‘Aisha (which Allah be pleased with her) said: “You keep knocking on the door of Heaven,” “With what,” she asked, “With hunger and thirst,” replied the Prophet. “

Every second of this sacred month is precious, do not waste it, we program to now the things we want to accomplish this month (study one hour of the Quran, study a new surat, to do zakat at this hour, study of Islamic lectures, etc.) in so you do not feel at the end that this month has passed and we were not ready and awake. How can we know if we have enough time to get to the next Ramandan? What excuse can we have before Allah? What excuse can we have for having missed the opportunity to take so many hasanat? Do this Ramadan and receive millions and millions of rewards from Allah in sha Allah!

Good Ramadan to all brothers and sisters.
